We seek a suitable candidate to fill the position above

ROLE PURPOSE STATEMENT:

To assist in administration, operation and optimization of information security tools. Coordinate deployment of new and upgraded information security solutions

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Daily administration and operation of information security systems including firewalls, endpoint security systems, data loss prevention, vulnerability assessment tools, SIEM and other audit logs analysis systems
2. Daily information security logs review, analysis and reporting
3. Researching, testing and deployment of information security solutions and providing recommendations to the IS Security Manager
4. Support information security incidents investigations and forensic analysis

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or ICT related field.
2. 1 or more years’ experience in information security, systems administration or systems audit.
3. Technical background in vulnerability assessment, application / database security, network security and web-related protocols.
4. Knowledge of IT security products and techniques, network infrastructure, applications, and equipment pertinent to a large, distributed, heterogeneous computing environment.
5. Qualifications in information security will be an added advantage e.g. CISA/CISM, CEH etc.
6. ITIL, MCSE certifications or Working Towards.
